Seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join the finance team. This role will play a key part in managing the company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic technology environment and is comfortable with both month-end close and process improvement initiatives.
This is a hybrid position, requiring a combination of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Manage and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and other departments
- Assist with external audits and tax filings
- Support technical accounting research and implementation of new standards
- Monitor key balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy and completeness
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA strongly preferred)
- 4-7+ years of accounting experience (public accounting and/or tech industry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) strongly preferred
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS company
- Familiarity with revenue recognition (ASC 606) and stock-based compensation
- Experience with automation tools or process optimization initiatives
